This pre-owned Chipot Vuillaume 4/4 violin in the style of J B Vuillaume was made in 1899. As can be seen from the photos it has some age related marks and the varnish has been restored in a couple of areas on the lower bouts on the back of the violin. The instrument has a beautiful flamed maple back, ribs and neck and plays with a lovely rich, balanced tone. This violin has good sound projection suited to a solo player.
 
The outfit includes a new bow and a hard case as shown in the photos.
